Stuart, FL (March 21, 2011)- Virtually all of the contestants from 2010 are returning to compete in the 15th Annual Big Taste, to be held at The Evergreen Club in Palm City on April 5th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The Big Taste is the annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties (BBBS), and over 1,200 attendees are expected this year.
“Not only do we get to support a great organization, we get a lot of exposure for participating in The Big Taste,” said Key Lime Café owner John White, 2010 winner for Best Salad. “The event allows us to showcase our food to potential customers while supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters. It keeps us coming back year after year.”
“The Big Taste is a fundraiser, of course,” said BBBS President and CEO Bill Bee. “But we work hard to make sure it has a good return for our restaurants and sponsors as well as for the agency. However, we always try to make this a community event.”
“We look forward to The Big Taste every year,” said Lillian Chase with Publix Supermarkets, who also serves on the Board of Trustees for BBBS. “It’s a great way to show our support.”
