Monthly Gifts

Be a Matchmaker: By making a monthly contribution and joining the Matchmaker monthly investment club, you’ll introduce a waiting Little to their Big Brother or Big Sister each and every month—and support matches all year round.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Matching gift programs often vary by employer, both in eligibility and in the maximum amount of the gift they will match. Some companies will match donations by employees, retirees, board of directors and/or spouses. Does your employer, your spouse’s employer, or the employer from whom you or your spouse have retired have a matching gift program? Find out today and designate Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties, or contact us and we will inquire on your behalf.

Florida License Plate

Visit your tax collector from Boca Raton to Jensen Beach to find your Big Brothers Big Sisters Florida State License Plate. For each plate sold, our agency will receive $25. These funds help support the one-to-one mentoring services that serve over 590 children annually.  This is an easy way for you to help support and spread out mission and become a defender of potential today. To get your speciality license plat, visit your local county tax collector’s office.  

IRA Distribution

You can satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) by making a Qualified Charitable Distribution directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties and lower your federal tax bill. Your lower Adjusted Gross Income may reduce your Medicare premiums and cause less of your Social Security benefits to be taxable.

Stocks & Securities

You invest. A child profits. It’s that simple. By making a donation in the form of stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other appreciated securities, you are making an investment in the future of children in our community. As a donor, you are entitled to take a charitable deduction for the full fair-market value of appreciated securities held longer than one year. We will need the following information from you: your name, phone number, mailing and email addresses, the type of stock, number of shares and approximate value, the purpose of the gift, and contact information for the broker in charge of the transfer.

Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

A DAF is a centralized vehicle for charitable giving that makes it easy for donors to dedicate funds to support their favorite nonprofit organization. It also provides an operationally convenient and tax-efficient method for donors to manage their charitable giving. You can make a gift now from your DAF if your DAF is with one of the financial institutions in the DAF Direct "Please select" drop down below. There are no fees from DAF Direct.
